Eye tracking

Jungle Minds has advanced eye tracking equipment that records the viewing behaviour of visitors by means of cameras built into a monitor that track eye movements. By analyzing and combining the eye movements of different people we can detect patterns in their viewing behaviour. The study results in so-called heat maps (see screenshot) that visually indicate what the user is looking at most.

Jungle Minds usually combines eye tracking with a usability test in order to arrive at optimal improvement suggestions that will noticeably improve your website.

Reasons for deploying eye tracking:

  • Insight into what the visitor is actually looking at
  • Insight into viewing sequence
